Registration information

Except where noted each course is for three graduate credits. Graduate music tuition for summer courses is $330 per credit.

Those marked with a (*) are non-credit workshops. Refer to the listing above for workshop fees.

All courses and workshops are eligible for Act 48 credit.

*** To register for Teaching Guitar in the Classroom please visit www.guitaredunet.org

The Strings Without Boundaries workshop can be taken for 1-3 graduate credits if desired.

There will be a pre-course component this summer for selected courses:

Introduction to Research in Music
Philosophies of Music History and Theory
Curricular Strategies in Music Education
Analysis of 20th Century Music

Two weeks prior to the beginning of the course, selected materials will be available on Blackboard for pre-reading and preparation for in-class discussions. Students registered for these courses will be expected to complete the readings prior to the first day of class and be prepared to participate in discussions. We recommend registering as soon as possible to ensure prompt access to the Blackboard site (www.blackboard.duq.edu).
