Madison University and the University of North
Texas. Principal trumpet teachers include George
Vosburgh, Charles Lirette, Timothy DeWitt and
Allen Bachelder. Founding member, Pittsburgh Brass
Quintet. Winner of State and Regional MTNA Young
Artists Competition and second place winner nationally.
Semi-finalist, National Trumpet Competition. Specializations
include Baroque trumpet performance practice.
Research has focused on the life and works of
Percy Grainger with special emphasis on Colonial
Song. Featured performer and soloist Reflections
in Brass, and Duquesne University's Music
of Duquesne Composers and Arrangers. Memberships
include the International Trumpet Guild, and Phi
Mu Alpha Sinfonia.
